Herencia 2005

This magnificent wine made exclusively with the Tinto Fino variety is born on the Pagos de Anguix property, located more than 850 meters above sea level, right in the heart of the Ribera de Duero region of Burgos. Patience and wisdom are enough to make this noble varietal express the true richness of this unique terroir.

An unrepeatable wine still endowed with an intense and brilliant red color in which the tile shades typical of its mature age are already distinguished.

Its aroma surprises with its great complexity. Initially, it evokes notes of ripe black plums and candied cherries seasoned with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. As it opens, the tertiary notes typical of a long aging in the bottle appear. Thus we distinguish mineral aromas surrounded by a slightly menthol balsamic background that complement its surprising bouquet.

The palate is friendly, welcoming and very sweet. Its broad tannin, but well tamed by its long aging, gives it an extremely pleasant and attractive texture. Its really long and intense finish increases its complexity.

A certainly long-lived wine that we can taste now in the maximum splendor of its full maturity.
